I finally picked up the pencils again!

Things have been *really* slow with work and I've had a lot of free time on my hands! Boredom plus a little inspiration prompted me to finally pick up the pencils again. I'm *so* rusty, but it felt so good!

I also finally got some pics of some of the hula adornments that I've made over the past couple years and should be uploading them shortly.

Hmmm...what to draw next...

Luckily, there aren't any fires that are too close to Sacto, so no BBQ'd Manoa! Though there are a ton in Northern California and since Sacramento sits in a valley, the air has been *very* smokey. *sniffle* *sneeze*

Hehe...smoked Manoa anyone?

I have to admit that I don't make most of my hula costumes...particularly now since my current halau (hula school) has a seamstress! Takes a lot of stress away by doing that...gives me more time to focus on practicing my dances and working on my adornments (leis 'n stuff).

Speaking of, I have a couple leis that I've done that I should post sometime in the future. I'll post the one costume I've sewn too sometime in the future! That is, once I get a new camera... (story to follow shortly)
